Gerhard Bodner, born and raised in Kitzbuhel, Austria is a former classical ballet dancer.

In 2012 he moved to the Andalusian mountains of southern Spain to work on an interior design and landscaping project. It did not take him long to discover the white village of Ubrique famous for its century old history of leather craftsmanship.

In Ubrique Gerhard learnt about the crafting of leather and the myriad of possibilities to transform it into precious unique pieces.

Gerhard has designed for number of brands in Spain and Austria. His first collection was presented under the label GERHARD BODNER in Summer 2019.
